Thermostatic Radiator Valves, or TRVs as they are often called, give you the ability to control the temperature of the different rooms around your home. A capsule, containing either liquid or wax, inside the head of the TRV, detects the room temperature and will either expand or compress, allowing a pin to increase or decrease the hot water flow, to maintain a constant temperature set by you
The temperature on the TRV is set by turning the TRV head. Typically the setting start with a star, or snowflake for frost protection and increase in steps to MAX, or maximum. The numbers in between equate roughly to 1 being 12-15° C, 2 being 17° C and increasing by 2° C every number after that, but this will depend on several factors including the size and ventilation of the room. We stock every style of Thermostatic Radiator Valve, traditional and modern, in all orientations. We have many finishes available including Chrome Thermostatic Radiator Valves, Anthracite, Black, Brass, Bronze, Copper, Nickel, Pewter, Satin Nickel and White.
